Welcome to Birmingham City University Arts, Design and Media Archive.

The archive supports the Faculty of Arts, Design and Media’s research, learning and teaching agenda by collecting and making fully accessible all collections and seeking to acquire material which ties into this agenda. These are free inspirational resources for students, staff, creative practitioners and the —one we collect, preserve and document for future generations and plan to make as accessible as possible.

The Arts, Design and Media Archives is on the ground floor of the Parkside Building. It is the home of thirty collections covering art and design, photography, education, music, media, jewellery, and fashion at Birmingham City University.

These are a free inspirational resource for students, staff, creative practitioners and the general public—one that we collect, preserve and document for future generations and plan to make as accessible as possible.
