Digital copyright masterclass for AWM members

Despite lockdown AWM members were able to benefit from top class training in digital copyright at a cost of just £15 per delegate.

Through 2 half days of remote training Debbie McDonnell of Naomi Korn Associates reminded us of the basics of copyright before leading us through the complexities of copyright in a digital environment.

Up to date and relevant

Orphan works, social media, Creative Commons and digital assets management were all explored along with the help of scenario-based activities. Delegates certainly valued the training with many as a result planning to review and amending processes and cascading the training down to colleagues. After the course several delegates asked for GDPR training so perhaps that will make it onto the 2022 schedule of the Digital Progress Programme.
