There are two types of AWM membership -subscription and affiliate.

Subscription Membership

Subscription membership is open to formal archive organisations within the West Midlands. Any member organisation is expected to be an Accredited archive or working towards archive accreditation.

The annual subscription fee is £500. The subscription year runs from 1 April to 31 March.

Subscription members have access to all the benefits of membership.

Affiliate members

Any organisation that is sympathetic to the aims of AWM may become an affiliate member. There is no charge to be an affiliate member. Affiliate members may attend the AGM but cannot access other member benefits.
